DMCA Policy

Last Updated: September 22, 2025

At BinaryCodeConverter.com (the “Site”), we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. This DMCA Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims and how you can submit or respond to them.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and posted on our Site in a way that constitutes infringement, please provide us with the following information in writing (see below for submission details). We will respond to valid notices expeditiously, including removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

What We Do About Infringements

  • We act as a conduit for user-generated content, like binary conversions of text or phrases entered via our free tool.
  • We do not proactively monitor for infringements but will investigate and act on valid DMCA notices.
  • Repeat infringers may have their access to the Site terminated.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice To report infringement, send us a written notice containing the following elements (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)) to our designated DMCA Agent:

  1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., “My original poem titled ‘Binary Dreams'”).
  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of where the infringing material is located on the Site (e.g., “User-generated binary output from input ‘Binary Dreams’ on September 22, 2025, visible at [specific URL or screenshot]”).
  3. Contact Information: Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of Accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Signature: Your electronic or physical signature.

You can also use the U.S. Copyright Office’s sample notice as a guide.

How to Submit a Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed) If you believe your content was removed by mistake, submit a counter-notice to the same DMCA Agent with:

  1. Your full name, address, phone, and email.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it was originally located.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or your material is fair use.
  4. Consent to U.S. federal court jurisdiction (or your local equivalent).
  5. Your electronic or physical signature.

We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they don’t object within 10-14 business days, we may restore the material.
